Responsibility is a difficult concept for many leaders. Responsibility for success, for team work, for mentoring, for training, for everything. Many average leaders make these responsibilities the domain of others. They refuse to provide the ‘leadership’ that is required to make themselves and their companies great. All of these ‘average captains of industry’ should be FIRED.
Out times and the success of our people, teams and companies resides in responsible behavior. When leaders take upon themselves the responsibility of these items, they then take on the responsibility to make their success possible.
The reason why so many companies, teams and individuals fail is lack of responsibility. We too often hear that things failed do to some outside influence that prevented success. Leaders ADAPT. Leaders LEARN. Leaders LEAD.
